When Instant Film becomes a Movie

No, it's not another failed attempt (like some 3 decades ago) to launch the Polavision film. Rather, it is an exquisite result of a stop-motion video created from hundreds of instant films from the Impossible. Here, Walter Lukens (and the team) created the last videospot in NYC.

  1. That's very nice! But... it must have cost more than the realisation of Titanic!

  2. I'd like to show you a Polaroid artist that used over 4000 instant stills to make a 60 minute feature film. Stefanie Schneider's 'The girl behind the white picket fence'. Check it out at www.heatherdreams.com

  3. WARNING about the Impossible project.
Impossible film can not develop in light. It must be hidden for the first 35 minutes or you get nothing. After that, they say to store it in the dark so it won't disappear as fast. Until Impossible finds the right chemical recipe, their film isn't like Polaroid.
